BIO PPB MEDIA © 2011 DJ La Parra is the artist name of Peter-Paul Bakker. Inspired by Ben Liebrand DJ La Parra starts as a DJ in 1988. In his first years, then known as DJ PP, DJ La Parra worked behind the turntables in several clubs at the well known holiday island of Texel. After a few years his main focus becomes house music. In 2007 DJ PP changed his artist name into DJ La Parra, the house sets start ranging from deep house to accessible remixes and he starts as a remixer and producer in his own studio. Clubs such as Question Plaza, Escape, G-spot and Switch have been his resident places. Inspired by people and teachers as Roog and Olav Basoski, DJ La Parra has been developing rapidly as a producer in 2010. In 2010 DJ La Parra worked with DJ Keanu on The Sound of Ibiza, receives airtime on radiostation Ping FM and performs at the Sound of Ibiza parties. This year DJ La Parra has been working on tracks and remixes for others, but also released tracks under his own name.
